About the Role

The CX/UX Researcher is responsible for understanding customer needs, behaviours, and pain points, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations that improve products, services, and end-to-end experiences. You will work at the intersection of research, design, and product, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence and that customer insights meaningfully shape product outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end research initiatives, including usability testing and interviews
  • Develop research plans, methodologies, and artifacts
  • Recruit and engage targeted users
  • Analyze and synthesize research data into actionable insights
  • Translate findings into recommendations
  • Deliver decision-ready outputs
  • Create personas, journey maps, and UX artifacts
  • Embed research into design and product lifecycle
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams
  • Integrate user feedback into development
  • Champion research practices across the organization
  • Share best practices and provide research leadership in a cross-functional environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of CX/UX research experience
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete background checks, which may include, Canadian Criminal Credit Check, Canadian ID Cross-Check, Public Safety Verification, 5-year Employment Verification, Education Verification, Credit Check, and Social Media Check.

Skills

  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally
