About the Role
As an IMO Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of M&A integrations, managing the program from planning through execution and business transition. You will establish integration governance, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and ensure strategic objectives are met while continuously improving the company's integration methodology.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end M&A integration programs to meet objectives, timelines, and value targets.
- Develop and maintain overall integration program plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Establish and manage program governance, including SteerCo reporting and decision logs.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across People, Finance, IT, Legal, Risk, Commercial, and Ops.
- Drive accountability for integration milestones and manage dependencies and critical path activities.
- Maintain program documentation including RAID logs, integrated plans, and RACI matrices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues.
- Manage external integration consultants and advisory partners.
- Facilitate governance forums, including leadership meetings and Steering Committees.
- Monitor and report program performance, budget, and benefits to executive stakeholders.
- Ensure operational readiness and coordinate cutover activities.
- Develop and improve integration playbooks, templates, and frameworks.
- Capture lessons learned to embed improvements into future programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in program management, PMO, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, or M&A integration.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing M&A integrations, large-scale transformations, or enterprise change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, governance, and PMO best practices.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across various business functions.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and program management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
- Experience working with external consulting firms or integration advisors is highly desirable.
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
