About the Role
ENB is seeking an experienced project leader to drive the development, planning, and delivery of a diverse project portfolio, with a focus on engaging and supporting Children and Young People (CYP). This role involves overseeing key programmes, building partnerships, and leading a specialist team to ensure high-quality project delivery and meaningful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational planning, development, and execution of all work within the projects portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Director of Engagement to understand strategic plans, objectives, priorities, and funding needs.
- Plan and manage all programming with direct reports and team members.
- Engage Associate Artists and freelance creatives within budget.
- Plan and manage lead times, team workflows, project staffing, and resources, coordinating with in-house teams for venue management, safety, and delivery.
- Support the Director of Engagement in showcasing high-quality projects and demonstrating meaningful results.
- Build and develop networks to support project continuity, growth, and development, including local or regional networking.
- Cultivate opportunities for project growth and development through cross-departmental collaboration and schedule planning.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in planning, implementation, and successful delivery of wide-ranging projects engaging local communities, education partners, venues, and arts partners.
- Strong background in youth and schools engagement.
- Ability to align projects to UK government and Arts Council England priorities.
- Ability to understand and balance the needs of diverse stakeholders and participants, including those with various access needs.
- Ability to develop high-value projects in terms of social relevance, and to monitor and drive quality and success factors.
- Demonstrated project management skills in the education and arts sectors, including developing, executing, and evaluating multiple workstreams within a portfolio.
- Ability to plan and oversee all aspects of project management, working with contractors and freelance creative practitioners.
