About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the design of bespoke-build, AI-native solutions for clients. You will collaborate with machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to shape intuitive solutions in a complex domain. At a senior level, you will share best practices and help build the design capability and systems to match our technical ability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of complex, high-impact user interfaces that meet rigorous accessibility and inclusion standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and oversee autonomous user research activities to synthesize insights that drive strategic design decisions.
  • Own the development and delivery of wireframes, prototypes, and detailed designs for challenging problems.
  • Evolve the design system to meet project and organizational needs and provide strategic guidance on implementation to engineers and peers.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and effectively communicate design rationale to stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
  • Lead iterative design processes, encouraging experimentation and validation efforts to continuously improve product usability and user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience designing for AI native products.
  • Experience designing for and shipping products at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction and wider product strategy.
  • Contributed to design excellence beyond immediate projects, establishing design systems, ensuring consistency, and proactively sharing best practice.
  • Led iterative design processes.
  • Excel at collaboration and communication, facilitating cross-functional teamwork and clearly articulating design rationale to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in design tools and methods, including AI tools, with the ability to create high-quality user experiences and mentor others in their use.
