About the Role
The role will initially be responsible for booking loan trades that hedge Total Return Swaps (TRS) to clients, booking/updating TRS, reconciling/confirming positions, tracking and resolving margin disputes, and booking loan hedge accrual resets. The candidate will also participate in migrating bookings from spreadsheets to a strategic booking solution to automate Desk PnL, downstream Market and counterparty risks, Settlements, and accounting. Additionally, the candidate will assist with internal presentations and approvals for TRS and SPV Financing structures and support senior desk members with financing asset level approvals received from clients.

Requirements
- Self-Starter
- Knowledge of trading markets, derivatives, credit/loan markets a plus
- Strong technology skills
- Knowledge of RBC support teams processes (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, Product Control, Ops)
- Understanding and interest in fundamental credit analysis a plus
- Appropriate licenses and registrations
- Authority to transact on behalf of the firm
- Multi-product and derivatives competent
- Supports Non-Traditional ABS origination team within the broader ABS Origination and Global Spread Products businesses
- Comfortable and effective multitasking in a fast-paced and pressure-filled trading floor environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong computer and analytical skills
- Considerable attention to detail is required
- Hours are unpredictable and as needed
