About the Role
We are looking for a SW Developer / SW Architect (m/f/x) Radio Framework FCAS to join our expert team at our client in the radio and communications industry. We are excited to get to know you and work together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.
Responsibilities
- Development of device software architecture for future, broadband communication systems in modern aircraft.
- Design of a software architecture for communication systems of different aircraft classes, considering modularity, performance, and hardware, firmware, and software partitioning.
- Definition of software architectures and interfaces according to operational requirements in close coordination with hardware architecture and system engineering.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of software system architectures in radio communication and familiarity with modern aircraft systems.
- Must-have: sound knowledge of the C programming language (not C++).
- Knowledge in hardware-related software development, driver development, and boot processes.
- Familiarity with real-time systems.
- Confident demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
