About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, reaching out through outbound calls and emails to create new business opportunities, qualify interest, and build a strong sales pipeline for Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to companies across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through outbound calls and email campaigns.
  • Identify potential customers, understand their business challenges, and qualify whether SINGU is the right fit for their needs.
  • Work from segmented prospect lists prepared by the Sales Operations team while continuously identifying new opportunities.
  • Hand over qualified leads to the DACH Sales team, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities, conversations, and lead statuses in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of BDRs and the wider CEE Business Development team to continuously improve outbound processes, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to building a scalable outbound engine that supports SINGU’s ambitious international growth plans.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native German, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in sales, customer acquisition, business development, or another client-facing commercial role.
  • Confidence in cold calling and cold emailing, or a strong willingness to develop these skills quickly.
  • Basic experience working with HubSpot or another CRM system.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to stay organised while managing a high volume of outbound activities.
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Experience working with the DACH market.
  • Exposure to the commercial real estate or PropTech industry.
  • English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate confidently, stay motivated, and keep improving your approach.
  • Naturally curious, ask good questions, and genuinely enjoy understanding how businesses operate.
  • Learn quickly, accept feedback, and treat every conversation as an opportunity to get better.
  • Like working towards goals, take ownership of your results, and understand that persistence is an important part of successful outbound sales.
