About the Role

Housekeeping is ideal for individuals who enjoy cleaning, staying active, ensuring guest satisfaction, and thriving in a hospitality setting. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and order, assisting with physical tasks, and attending to guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, and trash removal.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects like mattress flipping and furniture moves.
• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms.
• Maintain and promote a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
• Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.

Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand during the entire work shift.
• Ability to push vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during routine daily work activities.
• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during the workday.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
