About the Role

Lead daily payment posting and refund operations by coordinating workloads, supporting teammates, and ensuring timely, accurate processing of payments and refunds. Serve as the primary point of contact for payment posting and refund-related issues while partnering with leadership to improve workflows and operational performance. Support revenue cycle initiatives by researching complex account issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with reimbursement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Post electronic and manual payments, resolve payer edits, research unidentified payments, and process credit balances and refund requests
  • Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to teammates while fostering collaboration and continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years of revenue cycle experience with strong knowledge of payment posting, refunds, EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, and payer reimbursement processes
  • Radiology experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer payment posting, reimbursement policies, and revenue cycle operations
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to mentor teammates and improve operational processes
