About the Role

This role supports a major technology-enabled transformation program for a confidential government organization, aiming to modernize technology, processes, operating models, and workforce capabilities across various business functions. The position involves supporting stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, readiness activities, change champion coordination, and local adoption planning to help impacted teams understand and adapt to changes throughout the transition lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a healthy, inclusive, and psychologically safe working environment.
  • Identify change fatigue, readiness risks, stakeholder concerns, and adoption barriers.
  • Promote inclusive engagement practices considering diverse user groups.
  • Support the delivery of change and engagement activities across a complex transformation program.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement for assigned business areas, ensuring understanding of the case for change, impacts, and required actions.
  • Support change impact assessments, readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping, resistance management, and adoption planning.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, working sessions, and feedback forums.
  • Collaborate with communications, training, workforce, readiness, program, and technology teams.
  • Coordinate change champion activity, including briefing, feedback gathering, and escalation.
  • Support planning and delivery across design, testing, go-live, hypercare, and steady-state transition.
  • Monitor stakeholder sentiment, readiness, resistance themes, training confidence, and adoption risks, recommending interventions.
  • Ensure change activity is practical, role-based, and linked to measurable business outcomes.
  • Support manager enablement and local leadership coaching.
  • Provide honest, evidence-led input on stakeholder readiness, adoption risks, and operational impacts.
  • Raise risks early where engagement, readiness, training, adoption, or operational continuity may be at risk.
  • Ensure stakeholder feedback is captured and used to inform program decision-making.
  • Support decision-making by providing a practical view of what is working and where risks require escalation.
  • Help protect business continuity during transition.
  • Support client teams, change champions, and managers in leading change.
  • Coach managers and local leaders through transition.
  • Create repeatable engagement tools, stakeholder packs, workshop materials, readiness templates, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support knowledge transfer for ongoing stakeholder engagement and adoption support.
  • Contribute to a collaborative delivery environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, business readiness, or transformation delivery.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled change, digital transformation, process redesign, or major system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the change lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, readiness assessment, communications, training, go-live support, hypercare, and sustainment.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, working sessions, and stakeholder feedback forums.
  • Ability to translate process, system, role, and workforce impacts into practical engagement, readiness, and adoption activities.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience partnering with business users, managers, senior leaders, program teams, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing stakeholder updates, engagement summaries, action trackers, readiness inputs, and issue escalations.
