About the Role

Lead PR for LifeLock, the leader in identity theft protection in the U.S. In this high-impact individual-contributor role within Gen’s global communications team, you will own the LifeLock communications strategy end-to-end, lead our cross-functional Rapid Response/newsjacking program across Gen’s family of consumer brands, and help bring influencer partnerships campaigns to life. You’ll have the opportunity to turn data, insights, and innovation into timely, trust-building stories that resonate with consumers and the media. Help drive how LifeLock shows up in the moments that matter most for brand trust, relevance, and consideration. The communications team plays an important role within the Global Marketing Organization at Gen, helping drive awareness, credibility, and connection for our family of consumer brands. You will work closely with your comms team colleagues and as part of a cross-functional team supporting the identity business, partnering with key stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Labs, Legal, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the LifeLock PR strategy, aligned to product launches, partnerships, key seasonal moments like tax season, and broader thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Drive Rapid Response opportunities across the Gen family of brands, including Norton, LifeLock, Avast, and MoneyLion.
  • Translate research, product insights, and consumer trends into compelling media storylines, press materials, campaigns, and executive thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, tech, and personal finance media and secure high-impact coverage.
  • Lead proactive outreach and creative storytelling that differentiates LifeLock and strengthens brand trust, consideration, and relevance.
  • Prepare and counsel spokespeople and senior leaders for media engagements, interviews, speaking opportunities, and bylined content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on integrated campaigns across marketing, research, brand, social, and other business teams.
  • Support the Influencer Center of Excellence, helping identify and manage influencer partnerships, align creator opportunities with brand priorities, and partner with relevant agency and external stakeholders where needed.
  • Define success metrics, track performance, and deliver clear, insight-driven reporting across quality coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and overall campaign impact.
  • Lead agency partners and serve as the central point of coordination for LifeLock PR.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of proven PR and communications expertise.
  • Experience leading end-to-end PR programs from strategy through execution, measurement, and reporting.
  • Strong media relations experience and a track record of securing high-quality coverage across consumer, lifestyle, tech, and personal finance media.
  • Experience translating complex consumer security, identity, and financial wellness topics into clear, compelling stories for mainstream audiences.
  • Experience handling issues, crisis communications, and rapid response/newsjacking opportunities.
  • Confidence advising senior leaders, preparing spokespeople for media engagements, and managing agency partners in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product, research, brand, social, and legal teams.
  • Experience supporting influencer partnerships, including helping identify creator opportunities, align campaigns with brand priorities, and collaborating with the Influencer Center of Excellence on sourcing, approvals, and amplification strategy.
