About the Role
As a Video Editor & Motion Designer for Translations, you will play a key role in visually adapting videos between our German and English channels. You will work closely with our editorial and production team to re-edit existing videos, replace text elements and graphics, and adjust footage and animations to match the new voice-over flow.
Responsibilities
- Re-edit and adapt existing videos for the respective other channel (German/English)
- Edit and replace voice-overs
- Edit new passages
- Adapt existing text elements and animations
- Create new 2D animations
- Research footage
- Stylize and optimize assets
- Incorporate sources
Requirements
- Basic German and English language skills
- Professional proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Extensive experience in video editing and 2D animation
- Basic knowledge of 3D animation with Blender (desirable)
- Strong sense of aesthetics, flow, and visual storytelling
- Independent, reliable, and team-oriented
- Enthusiasm for documentary and educational content
