About the Role

This role provides organizational, logistical, and administrative support for peer-learning activities, network management, event organization, and external communication within a project focused on conflict transformation and peacebuilding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage travel arrangements and participant coordination for peer-learning activities.
  • Provide organizational and logistical support for peer-learning activities in coordination with project teams and international partners.
  • Ensure timely communication and coordination with partner organizations, project teams, and external service providers.
  • Identify and flag organizational bottlenecks.
  • Support the project team in network management, event organization, editing presentations and publications, and external communication.
  • Provide organizational, logistical, and administrative support for activities implemented by international partner organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations and internal policies, including procurement rules, in coordination with the finance department.

Requirements

  • Hold an MA in political sciences or international relations, preferably with a focus on peace and conflict studies.
  • Possess excellent organizational and logistical skills.
  • Have first professional experience with organizing international event formats (including hybrid and online formats).
  • Have first professional experience with project management and billing.
  • Fluent German and excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Have first professional experience in layout and editing presentations and publications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Strong ability to work with perseverance as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in an international environment.
  • Possess curiosity and strong intercultural skills.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
