About the Role
We are looking for a Workday Technical Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our People Team. You will play a key role in enhancing, supporting, and evolving our Workday platform, with a particular focus on Advanced Compensation. You will partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to deliver system enhancements, annual cycle events, new features, and continuous improvements aligned with our HR strategy.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert across multiple Workday modules, particularly Advanced Compensation.
- Support configuration and rollout of annual HR processes, including Advanced Compensation and Talent & Performance cycles.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and act as an escalation point for Workday Support Analysts and HR Operations.
- Safeguard data integrity, ensure best-practice governance, and handle sensitive information.
- Lead the development of standardized dashboards, advanced reporting toolkits, and Exec-level insights.
- Own and enhance Workday integrations and maintain robust security configurations.
- Partner with HR stakeholders, external consultants, and project teams on BAU tasks and strategic initiatives.
- Support tenant management, testing cycles, and Workday’s biannual releases.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve configuration, and deliver impactful enhancements.
- Contribute Workday subject matter expertise to roadmap projects and the small-change backlog.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical lead in Workday HCM/Reporting and Advanced Compensation.
- Previous experience in a data analytics role.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain system changes to non-technical employees.
- Passion and aptitude for data, process, and systems.
- Strong competency in Excel.
