About the Role
The Surgery business unit aims to bring innovation to wound management and minimally invasive surgery, striving for safe and secure surgical procedures. We offer a wide range of products including sutures, wound management products, and highly maneuverable endoscopic surgical instruments, leading the world in surgical product development. We also focus on promoting the appropriate use of products and disseminating suturing methods that reduce post-operative infection risk and minimize scarring. Our goal is not only to ensure the safe execution of less invasive surgeries but also to improve patients' quality of life post-operation.
Responsibilities
- Propose a wide range of products such as sutures, skin adhesives, hernia repair meshes, continuous suction drainage systems, absorbable adhesion barriers, and various topical hemostats for general surgery, with a focus on general surgery.
- Contribute to the advancement of surgical techniques by proposing products related to minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic surgery, including automatic suturing devices, automatic staplers, and ultrasonic scalpels.
- Provide information to promote the safe and appropriate use of proprietary products, creating an environment for high-quality surgical procedures in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Understand the needs of healthcare professionals and create value through product proposals.
- Manage a designated territory/hospitals and maximize sales of proprietary products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with notable achievements during that period.
- Basic knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for roles involving vehicle operation. Applicants must possess or obtain a driver's license by the time of employment. Individuals with certain medical conditions that may prevent obtaining or renewing a license must disclose this information in advance.
- Must not have experienced loss of consciousness due to illness or its treatment within the past 5 years.
- Must not have experienced temporary loss of control of any part of the body due to illness within the past 5 years.
- Must not have experienced falling asleep during waking hours more than 3 times a week despite adequate sleep for the past 5 years.
- Must not have engaged in repeated drinking leading to a constant state of intoxication for 3 or more consecutive days, 3 or more times in the past year.
- Must not have consumed alcohol 3 or more times in the past year against a doctor's advice for medical treatment.
- Must not have been advised by a doctor to refrain from driving due to illness within the past year.
