About the Role
The Catalog & 1991 team develops creative strategies to promote music across all platforms and formats. This internship offers practical experience in the music industry, providing insights into product management, marketing, and label services through campaign and release execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the intersection of Catalog and 1991 themes including repertoire optimization and campaign planning.
- Conduct research on artists, repertoire, markets, and cultural trends.
- Create and maintain tools such as Linkfire, pre-saves, and e-cards.
- Optimize repertoire on DSPs like Spotify and Apple Music, as well as YouTube.
- Assist with audience development measures including fan activations, newsletters, and social media content.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and evaluate success using data.
- Analyze sales and streaming figures to prepare reports and derive recommendations.
- Prepare presentations and briefings while gaining insight into artist and partner collaborations.
- Support meeting structures to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Interest in the design and marketing of music products and current music market trends.
- Active social media user with creative ideas for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales and streaming data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365/Office and ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Structured, independent work style with a focus on deadlines.
- Team player with open and communicative skills.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- Reliable, organized, and proactive approach.
