About the Role

Group-IPS is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial investment projects throughout their entire lifecycle. This role involves managing interdisciplinary teams and all project stakeholders, ensuring successful project execution from conception to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for industrial projects, from feasibility studies and concept development to commissioning.
• Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary IPS teams, client teams, specialist planners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Management of all project phases, including basic engineering, permits, tendering, awarding, construction supervision, and commissioning.
• Responsibility for schedule, cost, quality, and resource management.
• Preparation of regular project reports for management and clients.
• Definition of suitable KPIs for managing project success.
• Early identification of project risks and development of suitable risk mitigation measures.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry-specific quality and safety standards.
• Close collaboration with clients and project-related presence at construction sites and production facilities.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in engineering (e.g., process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or comparable).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management of industrial investment projects.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Pharma, Chemical, or comparable process industry environment.
• Experience with CAPEX projects in the multi-million Euro range; ideally with project volumes from €20 million.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as high customer orientation.
• Fluent German (minimum C1) and very good English skills.
• Valid driver's license Class B and willingness to travel for projects.
