About the Role
The Partnerships team cultivates and manages DailyPay’s partnerships with key players in payments, e-commerce, and financial services to create innovative products and solutions. This role will lead business development with Fintech partners in strategic focus areas including acquiring, issuing, and multi-rail/infrastructure providers, as well as online marketplaces for financial products.
Responsibilities
- Lead partnership strategy and drive revenue growth by developing new models and identifying untapped opportunities to expand DailyPay’s EWA, debit card perks marketplace and ecosystem footprint.
- Manage high-value relationships with banks, lenders, and marketplace ecosystem partners, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic planning, negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Innovate on pricing structures and partnership frameworks to scale impact and differentiate DailyPay in the EWA, card and perks marketplaces.
- Collaborate across product, ops, analytics, and vertical teams to align on shared goals and execute with precision.
- Use data to inform strategy, optimize performance, and identify trends that shape future opportunities.
- Position DailyPay as a thought leader by engaging with key industry stakeholders, representing the company at global Fintech conferences, and advocating for innovative fintech solutions for consumers.
- Identify gaps and innovation opportunities in the Fintech sector and work closely with product teams to drive new capabilities and enhancements tailored to the DailyPay customer needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in consulting, strategy, or a similar role driving new growth initiatives cross-functionally.
- 5+ years experience in financial technology, payments or financial services marketplaces.
- Proven track record in partner relationship management at senior leadership levels, including sourcing, negotiating, and driving internal and external accountability for performance and compliance with contract terms.
- Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional collaboration, executive presence, and communication.
- Ability to distill complex concepts into structured frameworks, clear and succinct memos, and concrete action plans.
- Ability to thrive through ambiguity in a dynamic working environment; know how to balance velocity with appropriate depth and attention to detail.
Skills
- Subject matter expertise with payment processing (acquiring and issuing), card interchange mechanics and/or digital acquisition for fintechs and banks.
- Deep expertise conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial forecasting and modeling.
