About the Role
As a Solutions Consultant (SC), you will serve as a strategic advisor within our technology division, working closely with sales representatives in the manufacturing business unit. You will provide technical leadership throughout the customer's security transformation journey, defining technical solutions that address key business challenges and maximize the value of their investment in our company. You will gain highly marketable expertise by taking responsibility for the entire customer lifecycle, from pursuing technical opportunities to implementing solutions and realizing value for major customers driving Japanese industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technical account plans centered on cross-platform solutions in collaboration with sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Deeply understand customer's technical, operational, and commercial needs to design and propose optimal solutions utilizing our entire portfolio.
- Lead effective presentations, demonstrations, and workshops tailored to specific customer challenges to clearly communicate solution value.
- Lead technical validation activities such as Proof of Value (POV) to technically ensure project success.
- Coordinate internal resources, including product specialists, channel partners, and customer support, to provide comprehensive customer support as a 'one team'.
- Collaborate with professional services and customer success teams to drive successful implementation projects and value realization post-implementation.
- Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with key customer technical stakeholders and support the development of their transformation roadmaps.
- Continuously stay informed about the latest technology trends and competitive landscape to enhance expertise.
Requirements
- Practical experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Pre-sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
- Deep technical knowledge and practical experience in multiple of the following areas: Networking and Network Security (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching), Cybersecurity (Threat Analysis, Zero Trust, various security solutions), Private/Public Cloud (IaaS/PaaS, Container Technology), SOC/Endpoint Security, SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).
- High logical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Language proficiency: Japanese (Native level), English (Practical reading and writing skills for technical documents and business correspondence, plus conversational ability).
- Experience in technical consulting for enterprise customers.
- Experience proposing solutions to global companies and large-scale users.
