About the Role
The Creative Technologist translates between model capabilities and creative craft, pressure-testing new endpoints and features, and building working examples to demonstrate Luma's potential. This hands-on, individual contributor role focuses on building rather than just discussing.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end production workflows from concept to final delivery, tailored to specific brand, agency, and entertainment use cases.
- Translate customer briefs into working prototypes that demonstrate possibilities.
- Pressure-test new models, endpoints, and features, developing techniques that advance generative image and video capabilities.
- Transform account-specific problems into working workflows rapidly.
- Build demo boards to clearly present Luma's value during live pitches and partner with Sales on discovery and demo preparation.
- Create customer boards for FDCs to use within accounts to drive adoption and consumption.
- Maintain a library of vertical-specific demos that remain current with model and feature updates.
- Develop reusable boards, templates, and pipelines for scalability across accounts and verticals.
- Document successful methods to ensure winning patterns are shared across the team.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience using generative AI for image and video, understanding tool limitations and strengths.
- Background in brands, agencies, or film production and VFX, with an understanding of professional creative production workflows.
- A portfolio demonstrating taste, craft, and range across mediums.
- Speed and a prototyping instinct, solving creative problems through building.
- Comfort working with Sales and embedded creatives, bridging commercial goals and creative execution.
