About the Role

Quest Global is seeking a Field Service Manager for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves managing field services, overseeing startup operations in local factories, and acting as a bridge between overseas projects and domestic customers. The position requires extensive travel and involves training and managing field service engineers, as well as facilitating communication between engineers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage semiconductor manufacturing equipment field services.
  • Manage startup operations for semiconductor manufacturing equipment in local factories.
  • Act as a bridge for semiconductor manufacturing equipment field services, connecting overseas projects with domestic customers.
  • Undertake overseas and domestic business trips for field service management.
  • Train and manage field service engineers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Facilitate communication between engineers and customers in English.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field engineering and startup operations for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing subordinates.
  • Ability to understand requirements from clients and team members.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Experience in troubleshooting semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for business for several weeks.
  • English proficiency with a TOEIC score of 700 or higher and at least 5 years of work experience using English.
  • Native or N1 level Japanese language skills.
