About the Role

This role is at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and social media, where you will play a critical part in shaping, reviewing, and refining AI-generated content to ensure it meets the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and platform integrity. It is an outstanding opportunity for a German Speaking GenAI Content Moderator position in Greece, based on-site in Athens.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and moderate AI-generated content across social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines, legal standards, and brand policies in German-language markets.
• Identify and flag harmful, misleading, or policy-violating content produced by generative AI tools, applying consistent and well-reasoned judgement at all times.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback and annotations to support the continuous improvement of GenAI models used within social media environments.
• Collaborate closely with internal quality assurance teams to uphold content accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and contextual relevance for German-speaking audiences.
• Monitor emerging trends, misinformation patterns, and potentially harmful narratives circulating on social media platforms, escalating cases according to defined protocols.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of moderation decisions, supporting transparency, accountability, and ongoing model training efforts.
• Participate in regular calibration sessions and training updates to stay aligned with evolving platform policies, GenAI developments, and social media industry best practices.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful digital environment by applying culturally informed moderation standards tailored to the German-speaking social media landscape.

Requirements

• Native or fluent German language proficiency — both spoken and written — is essential for this role.
• Valid EU passport or appropriate work authorisation for Greece is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, digital content ecosystems, and online community standards.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, generative AI tools, or content moderation workflows is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make clear, consistent decisions in a fast-paced social media environment.
• High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity when evaluating German-language content within diverse social media contexts.
• Good working knowledge of English for internal communication, training materials, and cross-team collaboration.
