About the Role

Ox Security secures the AI-driven SDLC from prompt to production. We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in building scalable systems, driving product innovation, and helping our customers succeed. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and customers to solve complex technical challenges and scale our platform.

Responsibilities

Understand the entire product lifecycle across different departments, touching on all product aspects from technical features to commercial considerations.
Develop across various microservices.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and sales teams to relay customer feedback and translate it into actionable internal objectives.
Drive technical improvements and initiatives related to product infrastructure, performance, and feature sets.
Collaborate effectively across departments and lead initiatives independently.
Prioritize customer needs and pain points, advocating for the customer’s voice in all product decisions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on customer-centric products.
Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, or other relevant backend languages.
Deep understanding of backend architecture, including microservices, API design, and design patterns.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their associated services.
Active and proficient use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, LLMs) to streamline coding practices, accelerate learning curves, and optimize workflows.
Proven problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering performant, scalable solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with globally distributed teams.
Experience in agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
