About the Role

Join the Contract Management Team to validate metering invoices for Octopus Energy, managing £32 million in monthly invoices. This role focuses on cost savings, ensuring contractual compliance, and maintaining service delivery standards within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review meter rental, premature removal charges, and lost meter processes with MAPs.
• Analyze third-party data to assess accuracy and identify potential monetary savings.
• Identify, manage, and report on key risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze processes and recommend service improvements.
• Provide regular progress and performance updates aligned with team strategy.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling billing and contractual terms.
• Knowledge of smart assets and the interlink between MAPs, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Ability to liaise with operational teams to resolve invoice errors.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal stakeholders and third parties.
• Experience analyzing end-to-end processes to develop and embed best practices.
• Understanding of Kraken, industry sites like ECOES and Xoserve, and data flows.
• Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex datasets.
