About the Role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their Sydney-based service team. This role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology, premium customers, and a supportive team that values work-life balance, autonomy, and career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial HVAC systems
  • Performing preventative and routine maintenance
  • Fault finding, servicing, overhauls, and commissioning
  • Completing small commercial installations, including reading and working from plans
  • Working with equipment ranging from package units to chillers and central plant
  • Gaining exposure to Johnson Controls Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Quoting small works and managing jobs on site

Requirements

  • Hands-on technician with a focus on quality work and customer service
  • Experience with chillers and commercial air conditioning
  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration or Electrical (HVAC experience required)
  • Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Strong customer communication skills
