About the Role

As a Project Accountant, you will provide financial support for major infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate reporting, robust analysis, and actionable insights to drive financial performance and process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate continuous process improvement throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Experience in project accounting within a large corporate or infrastructure environment
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Experience driving business performance and continuous process improvement
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory frameworks, and asset cost accounting/capitalisation (desirable)
