About the Role
As a Legal Solutions Consultant, you will engage in solution advocacy, understand customer requirements, execute demonstrations, drive the sales cycle, achieve targets, maintain industry expertise, champion the customer, and act as a technology evangelist for the Thomson Reuters legal ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Utilize best-in-class technology to provide solution expertise across the entire Thomson Reuters Legal Ecosystem during the sales cycle.
- Support specialist sales teams to define and scope appropriate solutions to fulfill customer needs.
- Identify specific needs and leverage Thomson Reuters' legal capabilities to develop tailored proposals.
- Manage, lead, and deliver product demonstrations across interconnected legal platforms.
- Respond quickly to new leads and progress deals through the pipeline.
- Develop and help close new opportunities to meet and exceed Gross Sales quotas.
- Keep up to date with legal industry news, policy changes, regulations, and competitor activities.
- Act as an advocate for customer needs, feeding back insights to business and product teams.
- Champion the complete Thomson Reuters legal ecosystem.
- Confidently present and contextualize connected solutions to customers and partners through webinars, seminars, and workshops.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a software/SaaS solutions consultant or pre-sales role.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing global reporting and compliance requirements.
- Thorough understanding of the sales process.
- Experience managing the bid or proposal process (including responding to RFPs/RFIs).
- Excellent consultative and problem-solving skills.
- Business proficiency in both Japanese and English is preferred.
- A deep understanding of the needs, opportunities, and workflows related to modern legal technology and interconnected legal ecosystems is a plus.
