About the Role
This role sits within the Customer Office at CFS, as part of the Marketing Strategy and Transformation team in the Brand and Customer Engagement (B&CE) function. The B&CE team shapes and delivers brand, marketing and customer engagement strategies that drive customer outcomes and growth across Direct and Employer segments.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering growth, engagement, retention and member outcomes across assigned portfolios.
- Lead the end‑to‑end marketing value chain for assigned portfolios, from insight and planning through delivery, optimisation and post‑implementation review.
- Partner cross‑functionally to deliver programs at pace, with aligned priorities, governance and quality standards.
- Lead in lifecycle/CRM best practice, measurement discipline and delivery excellence, raising standards, simplifying execution and reducing duplication.
- Champion strong lifecycle marketing standards, ways of working and performance discipline.
- Support adoption of modern marketing capability (data‑led decisioning, personalisation, AI‑enabled insights) to improve efficiency and impact.
- Ensure all marketing activity is customer‑first, compliant and regulator‑ready.
- Embed governance checkpoints and proactively manage marketing risk in partnership with Legal and Risk.
Requirements
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable growth outcomes and ROI.
- Ability to translate business strategy into marketing strategy (segmentation/targeting, proposition development, forecasting, integrated planning).
- Strong digital and data capability across channels and platforms (CRM/email, paid digital, social, search/display, web journeys).
- Experience building data and insight-led strategies, personalisation, triggered programs and rigorous optimisation (test/learn, dashboards, performance reporting).
- Understanding of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.
- Leads orchestration and cross-functional delivery, setting the standards and engaging key contributors.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; able to lead complex work through orchestration.
- Strong project management and delivery discipline; ability to manage through a complex problem and a changing environment.
- Full work rights in Australia required.
