About the Role

Channel Talk is seeking a founding Go-to-Market member in San Francisco to spearhead the development of our early U.S. market entry strategy. This role involves direct engagement with founders and operators to identify key value areas for Channel Talk, expand U.S. customer relationships, and convert opportunities into design partners and customers. Insights gained will directly influence product direction, positioning, and future GTM strategies for U.S. expansion. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend relationship building, market exploration, and rapid execution within a competitive software landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Map and prioritize high-potential customer segments within the San Francisco AI startup ecosystem.
  • Build relationships with founders, operators, and startup communities through various engagement methods.
  • Convert market conversations into tangible outcomes such as demos, pilots, design partners, customers, or clear market learnings.
  • Test messaging, use cases, and customer segments to identify areas of strong resonance for Channel Talk.
  • Establish Channel Talk's presence in the early-stage startup ecosystem via community activities and events.
  • Integrate market feedback into product development, positioning, and GTM strategy.
  • Lay the groundwork for a scalable and repeatable U.S. go-to-market motion.

Requirements

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a willingness to engage directly with founders and startup communities.
  • Experience in startups, sales, business development, community building, VC, accelerators, founder's office, or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in building relationships and initiating conversations with new individuals.
  • Demonstrated high ownership, swift follow-through, and adaptability in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong English communication skills, particularly when interacting with founders and operators.
  • A keen interest in AI, B2B SaaS, customer support, and customer operations.
  • Ability to actively listen to customers, discern underlying issues, and translate insights into actionable steps.
