About the Role
As the Employee Experience & Workplace Manager at HelloFresh, you will be the strategic driver of employee engagement, company culture, and workplace operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role is based in Chippendale, Sydney, and reports directly to the Director of People & Culture. You will lead and mentor a distributed team to optimise hybrid office layouts, act as a key change agent, and partner closely with business leaders to drive cultural shifts and oversee vibrant, safe, and high-performing hybrid work environments.
Responsibilities
- Interpret metrics from Peakon lifecycle surveys to build executive decks and partner with HRBPs to execute data-driven regional engagement strategies.
- Own the end-to-end planning of the annual calendar of cultural and learning events, acting as a strategic advisor to local leadership teams.
- Partner with the global team and local HRBPs to deliver high-impact Learning & Development initiatives, organising a quarterly roadmap and tracking impact metrics.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Ops to ensure an inspiring, warm, and consistent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of Workplace Operations Coordinators across Sydney, Brisbane, and NZ to optimise hybrid office layouts and day-to-day experience.
- Oversee the Jira Service Desk to implement and monitor SLAs, and work with WHS to ensure compliance of WHS measures, emergency protocols, and first aid compliance.
- Manage the regional engagement budget with high accuracy, tracking expenditures and maintaining high-value relationships with key event, catering, and office vendors.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Employee Experience, Culture or Workplace, as well as Learning & Development.
- Advanced skills setting up service reporting automation and interpreting raw data (Peakon, Jira, surveys) into actionable insights and executive presentation decks.
- Proven experience in designing, coordinating, and delivering high-impact Learning & Development initiatives with the confidence to facilitate sessions.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a distributed operational team across multiple locations.
- Highly consultative relationship builder who can act as a trusted advisor to local leadership and partner effectively with global COE teams, HRBPs, TA, and HR Ops.
- Customer-centric with a strong focus on applying a service lens to internal employee journeys and physical office environments.
- Proficient in AI tools and proactive in driving continuous process improvements and automation.
- Strong data storyteller capable of translating raw metrics into actionable culture and workplace strategies.
