About the Role

As a Senior Performance Manager, you will be central to a global blue-chip client, influencing how audiences experience a brand across markets and moments. This high-profile role offers unmatched scale, complexity, and visibility, allowing you to shape how performance media drives meaningful business outcomes across your client portfolio. You will set the standard for performance media, ensuring seamless integration between strategy, planning, activation, and optimization to drive measurable marketing growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted, senior-level relationships with clients through proactive sharing of latest market knowledge, general media industry topics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Present performance outcomes, optimization strategies, and activation learnings to clients during WIPs and QBRs.
  • Spearhead end-to-end activation of Digital campaigns (Programmatic, Direct Digital, Social, Search), ensuring flawless launch, accurate set-up, and achievement of performance benchmarks.
  • Ensure quality control from briefing media through buying, optimization, and reporting, with budgets spent effectively and within approved limits.
  • Oversee post-campaign reports, performance updates, and client presentations; influence performance narratives in Quarterly Business Reviews and feed actionable learnings back into planning.
  • Review outcomes of audits and MMM studies, implementing improvements where needed.
  • Enforce the use of briefing templates, ensuring briefs have clear context and timely feedback is given to media partners.
  • Provide planning costs and tactical recommendations to enhance media plans and deliver ROI across digital channels.
  • Stay close to performance trends and insights, proactively identifying opportunities to improve results or mitigate risk.
  • Assist in the development of Digital I&A Executives by providing feedback and guidance, and helping them deliver their KPIs.
  • Develop the team’s commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and solution-finding abilities beyond technical implementation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to direct reports and the offshore Activations team, seeking alignment from the Director.
  • Oversee workload across the team to ensure they can deliver on accountabilities and attend training and development sessions.
  • Effectively oversee workflow and communications with the offshore team to ensure seamless campaign implementation and reporting.
  • Make informed choices in high-pressure circumstances, seeking win-win outcomes.
  • Be deeply qualified and assured with activation platforms, systems, and tools used across performance channels.
  • Assist teams in using platforms correctly and confidently, with a strong focus on output interpretation and decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot delivery or system issues as they arise and escalate effectively when required.
  • Ensure consistent use of activation templates, processes, and best-practice ways of working across accounts.
  • Act as the best representative of core values by contributing to the broader agency culture and initiatives, projecting confidence, energy, and building team morale.
  • Actively participate in brainstorms, internal forums, team training, and development to enhance craft knowledge and share learnings across teams, especially emerging connection opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Performance Media.
  • Strong experience in Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic.
  • Excellent grasp of planning & activation.
  • Experienced in working knowledge of Google paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360), the Microsoft Advertising platform, as well as key platforms like Meta, LI, TTD etc.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong communication experience, both written and verbal.
  • Solution seeker and strong analytical thinking.
