About the Role
Nova Scotia Health is seeking compassionate nursing students for the Undergraduate Student Nurse (USN) role to join teams across various programs and locations, providing patient-centred care within a collaborative healthcare environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building a rewarding career.
Responsibilities
- Works as a member of the healthcare team providing safe patient/client/resident care utilizing the nursing process.
- Works in a collaborative practice environment with various healthcare providers.
- Accountable to provide competent, safe, and ethical professional practice to individuals, families, and groups.
- Collaboration with other systems and external partners may be required.
Requirements
- Active enrollment in an accredited education program including Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BN).
- Completed a minimum of 440 clinical hours as part of your education program.
- Completed Physical Assessment and Pharmacology courses.
- Must not have already secured a role as an Undergraduate Student Nurse.
- Must not be graduating until after October 2026.
