About the Role
We are partnering with a California school district to hire a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist for a part-time position supporting students across a variety of educational settings. This role offers the flexibility to provide services on-site, through teletherapy, or a combination of both, helping students improve mobility, coordination, balance, strength, and overall functional performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized physical therapy services through in-person, virtual, or hybrid service delivery models.
- Evaluate students' physical abilities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings to support student growth, independence, and educational success.
Requirements
- Hold an active California Physical Therapist license or be eligible to obtain licensure.
- Ability to provide services on-site, remotely, or through a hybrid schedule.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students improve mobility, independence, and access to learning.
