About the Role
Provide advanced analytics supporting the adoption of data-led decision-making across the Group by translating business priorities into curated data sets using quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and trend analysis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Digital Data Product Manager and business stakeholders to shape problem statements, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Transform data into high-quality datasets that enable effective decision-making and support delivery of business priorities.
- Apply quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, and trend analysis to uncover patterns, identify drivers, and generate output that supports business decisions.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to apply predictive and advanced analytics, including scenario modelling and basic data exploration using SQL, and contribute to the development and testing of these use cases while building capability in this area.
- Support the development of insights and analysis that explain trends, drivers, and performance, moving beyond basic BI reporting, visualization and defect management.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to apply predictive or advanced analytics, and support the team in testing and developing these use cases.
- Monitor and highlight data quality issues or gaps in reporting, and work with the Data & Analytics team to improve data reliability.
- Stay up to date with Data & Analytics tools (including Power BI) and apply new features to improve reports and insights.
- Support the business by helping users understand and use dashboards and insights confidently.
- Work closely with SMEs and technical teams to resolve issues, refine requirements, and ensure outputs meet business needs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SQL (Snowflake preferred) and Power BI with the ability to build and interpret dashboards.
- Intermediate understanding of data structures and data warehousing concepts.
- Foundational understanding of analytics concepts, including exposure to forecasting or predictive modelling, with a willingness to develop in this area.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business questions into data-driven analysis.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly and work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage changing priorities with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Curious and proactive mindset, with a strong willingness to learn new tools, improve analytical capability, and apply insights to business outcomes.
