About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to provide patients with the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation across admitted services.
  • Provide therapy in individualised, paired, and group settings.
  • Participate in developing appropriate discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work both independently and within a team structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
  • Sound clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
  • Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation/hospital setting is desirable
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and workloads
  • Confidently work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated willingness to assist other Occupational Therapy units with clinical caseloads when required.
  • Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
  • Flexible and positive approach to work.
  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
