About the Role

Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic team. We empower portfolio managers and engineers to develop innovative trading strategies and world-class electronic trading infrastructure. Our engineers tackle complex challenges in low-latency programming, FPGA technology, hardware acceleration, and machine learning, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

Architect and optimize performant low-latency trading and high-throughput training systems
Work extensively with traders and researchers
Create tools to analyze data for patterns
Make market observations and conduct post-trade analysis
Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators
Operate the team’s high-frequency trading strategies

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD student
Majoring in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields
Proficient in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python preferred)
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
Strong problem-solving abilities
Passion for new technologies and ideas
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Interest in financial markets
