Responsibilities
- Greet neighbors with a friendly, passionate attitude
- Assist customers with product selection, such as pet food
- Make thoughtful product recommendations based on pet needs
- Operate the POS system and process transactions
- Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and offers
- Stock shelves, manage inventory, and organize displays
- Lift and stock heavy bags of pet food and supplies
- Assist pet parents with self-wash stations and explain the process
- Restock bathing supplies and maintain store cleanliness
- Provide occasional services like walk-in nail trims
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends
- Willingness to learn about pet nutrition, products, and care
- Reliable and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift, stock, and remain on feet for extended periods
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
