Responsibilities

• Own the tooling and services that power the next generation of CI/CD pipelines, including the GitOps deployment API/CLI, self-service deployment capabilities, and the shared TypeScript package ecosystem.
• Lead the stabilization and strategic evolution of mission-critical systems, prioritizing technical knowledge capture and de-risking deployment paths.
• Lead technical direction, including golden paths, standards, and the multi-quarter roadmap across delivery tooling and the Go automation and intelligence platform.
• Stay hands-on by designing and building high-leverage, high-risk components in Go and TypeScript/Node, setting patterns for others.
• Shape the application of Agentic AI, MCP, and durable workflows to automate infrastructure creation, upgrading, and auditing.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, raise the quality bar through design and code review, and influence partner teams without relying on positional authority.

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, or equivalent impact and technical leadership.
• A track record of architecting and operating tooling, services, or platforms that many other teams depend on.
• Strong experience in delivery/GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Helm) or backend platform & API engineering at scale.
• Proficiency in Go or TypeScript/JavaScript, with strong working ability in the other.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), serverless runtimes (GCP Cloud Run or equivalent), and major cloud providers (GCP and AWS).
• A track record of leading a high-stakes inheritance or migration, setting direction, mentoring senior engineers, and driving alignment across organizational boundaries.
• Practical experience or strong theoretical depth in Agentic AI, MCP, and A2A frameworks.
