About the Role
The Restaurant Supervisor I supports the General Manager and Restaurant Supervisor II in daily operations and directs the restaurant in their absence. This role focuses on maximizing restaurant culture, ensuring a superior guest experience, and enforcing company and government policies.
Responsibilities
- Support team and company goals by assisting in all positions as needed
- Ensure excellent customer service and operational goals via the Ops Scorecard
- Maintain specific Ops Scorecard goals for dissatisfaction, accuracy, WingYOU, and QSC
- Address SMG customer cases within 24 hours
- Maintain a guest-first culture
- Work varying shifts from week to week
- Monitor hours worked and obtain approval for overtime
- Ensure team member compliance with company standards, handbook, and code of conduct
- Drive positive team member engagement and retention
- Achieve operational excellence and follow company procedures
- Train team members in their positions
- Follow and enforce cash management and handling policies
- Monitor paid outs, voids, and refunds
- Drive sales and control labor and food costs
- Monitor employee meal utilization
- Assist in staffing and minimizing turnover
- Delegate duties via pre-shift huddles
- Complete Zenput tasks and forms
- Ensure restaurant safety, food safety, and cleanliness
- Complete Time and Temperature logs and verify dates
- Ensure completion of weekly and monthly cleaning
- Manage work orders for repairs and equipment via Upkeep
- Manage pest control needs
- Maintain professional communication with guests, staff, and leadership
- Act as a problem solver
- Expedite orders when working without another supervisor
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50-pound boxes
- Work a maximum of 40 hours per week unless approved by Area Coach
- Must remain professional at all times on company property
- Must be available to work in different restaurant locations within the market based on business needs
