About the Role
As a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate, you will provide excellent service by communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and offering effective solutions. This role combines sales responsibilities with hands-on warehouse tasks, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast and friendly service at the counter, over the phone, and through email.
- Assess customer needs and offer assistance and solutions.
- Process orders quickly, handle returns and the required paperwork, and source items that are not in stock.
- Help with picking and packing orders, restocking items, and accurately keeping track of inventory.
- Assist with warehouse tasks to keep the area clean and safe.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries while making deliveries when needed.
- Work alongside team members to resolve issues related to orders, transfers, and purchase orders.
- Provide support and training to junior staff.
Requirements
- Over 2 years in a customer-facing role within the industry.
- A clear police record is necessary for employment.
- Knowledgeable in plumbing and hydronics.
- Strong history of good customer service and making strong connections.
- Ability to explain technical details effectively to different people.
- Skilled at handling busy counter operations.
- Can use computer applications with ease.
- Can work independently, takes charge, and is responsible.
- Flexible with work hours to fit the needs of the business.
