About the Role
As our Newsletter Writer, you'll research, write, and produce a weekly newsletter that keeps our audience informed, entertained, and plugged into the best earning opportunities available. No degree required — just strong writing and an understanding of what gig workers actually care about.
Responsibilities
- Research and write the weekly NoGigiddy newsletter from top to bottom
- Curate the best earning opportunities, gig news, and money tips for each issue
- Write in a voice that's direct, relatable, and cuts through the noise
- Coordinate with the email and content teams to align with broader campaigns
- Optimize subject lines and preview text for open rates
- Track newsletter performance — opens, clicks, and unsubscribes — and improve accordingly
- Maintain a content calendar and meet weekly publishing deadlines without exception
Requirements
- No degree required
- Strong, conversational writing voice — informal but credible
- Ability to research and synthesize information quickly
- Self-managed and deadline-driven — the newsletter goes out on time, every time
- Familiarity with email platforms (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Kit, or similar) a plus
- Interest in personal finance, gig work, or the creator economy
