About the Role
As a Lifeguard at The Water Main, you will be responsible for ensuring guest safety by monitoring water activities, responding to emergencies, and enforcing park rules. This role offers valuable life-saving skills and StarGuard Elite certification training.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all water activities to ensure guest safety.
- Enforce water park rules and educate guests with a positive, professional attitude.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any situation, including rescues and basic first aid.
- Participate in regular training and practice drills.
- Assist with equipment checks and maintain clean work zones.
- Communicate clearly and support fellow lifeguards.
- Help guests feel comfortable, welcome, and safe.
Requirements
- Must be 15+ years old.
- Must be a confident swimmer.
- Ability to pass and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
- Strong focus, maturity, and quick decision-making skills.
- Physical stamina to swim, sit, stand, and perform rescues in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods.
- Positive, friendly attitude.
- Commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
