About the Role
Working as part of a diverse team that puts children and families first and acknowledges the importance of documenting children’s learning, on a day-to-day basis you will be providing care and supervision to children in a safe and stimulating environment, planning and implementing fun and educational activities that foster developmental growth and assisting children in toilet training, dressing and mealtimes, encouraging creativity, social skills and emotional development through interactive play and learning, communicating with families to share milestones and updates on their child’s progress, and collaborating with a team of passionate educators to build a positive, inclusive learning space.
Responsibilities
- Providing care and supervision to children in a safe and stimulating environment.

- Assisting children in toilet training, dressing and mealtimes.

Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in Early Childhood Education
- Demonstrated understanding of the early years learning framework
- Able to create and maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for children.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
- Proactive and takes on new initiatives.
- Able to take on new room responsibilities.
