Responsibilities
- Collaborate with children to follow their interests and create engaging learning experiences
- Support children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Observe, document, and evaluate children’s learning and development
- Create environments that promote trust, security, flexible routines, and smooth transitions
- Contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
- Experience in a similar early childhood education role
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Experience working in diverse and inclusive environments, including supporting children with additional needs
- A genuine commitment to inclusive practice and building respectful partnerships with families from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences
- A valid Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid
- Sound understanding of children’s development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
