About the Role
We are seeking an Internal Regional Wholesaler to drive annuity sales growth in an assigned territory by developing relationships with financial professionals, agencies, and distribution partners. This role involves executing sales strategies, increasing advisor engagement, and promoting product adoption through proactive outreach. The Regional Wholesaler acts as a key contact for advisors, providing product guidance, sales ideas, and operational support to advance opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outbound call campaigns to financial professionals and agencies to promote products, generate opportunities, and grow advisor relationships.
- Respond to inbound advisor inquiries regarding product features, positioning, proposals, and business processing support.
- Assist in delivering product education, sales concepts, and marketing initiatives to advisors and distribution partners.
- Support advisor engagement activities including follow-ups, meeting coordination, and campaign execution.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely processing of contracting, service requests, and new business submissions.
- Contribute to pipeline development by identifying opportunities, cross-selling products, and reinforcing sales strategies with advisors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of advisor interactions and sales activities within CRM systems.
- Stay current on product updates, industry trends, and competitive developments to effectively position offerings.
- Meet or exceed established activity metrics and performance expectations.
- Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and company policies.
Requirements
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial professionals, agencies, and internal partners through consistent engagement and follow-up.
- Skilled at identifying advisor needs, providing product guidance, and supporting the sales process through proactive outreach.
- Ability to partner effectively with Regional Vice Presidents to execute coordinated territory plans and maximize advisor coverage.
- Capability to deliver product education, support presentations, and communicate value propositions effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage advisors in a professional and impactful manner.
- Working knowledge of annuity products, features, and competitive positioning, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Ability to manage high call volumes, track advisor interactions, and support pipeline development through CRM tools.
- Works closely with sales associates, operations, and leadership to ensure responsive service and a seamless advisor experience.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, virtual meeting tools, and digital sales support systems.
- 2–4 years of sales, service, or financial services experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of annuities, life insurance products, or financial services industry.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and results orientation.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
