About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide enthusiastic patient care and support, building personal connections at every visit.
- Help, educate, and improve patients' lives.
- Collect patients' dental and relevant medical history for examinations.
- Prepare patients and equipment for X-rays, and take X-rays following safety procedures.
- Perform bonding and removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances.
- Place and remove arch wires.
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress.
- Update patient records and examination notes.
- Perform all lab duties and requirements as instructed.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Travel to satellite locations as necessary.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with team members to foster trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required.
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program.
- Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province, in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, with an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
