About the Role
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening WHS practices across our national portfolio. You will provide practical safety guidance, support compliance initiatives, and help drive a proactive safety culture across the business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with operational teams to provide practical WHS advice and support
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across multiple states
- Support incident investigations and corrective action processes
- Assist with WHS reporting, risk assessments, and safety initiatives
- Maintain WHS systems, registers, and documentation
- Deliver toolbox talks, training, and safety engagement activities
- Support continuous improvement across WHS frameworks and processes
Requirements
- Experience in a WHS role within a multi-site environment
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally
