About the Role
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will oversee construction projects within the Public Studio to ensure Contractors and Owners fulfill their contractual obligations. You will provide technical interpretations, document clarifications, and financial progress reviews while supporting design teams with constructability feedback.
Responsibilities
- Perform site visits to ensure compliance with construction contracts and building codes
- Prepare reports documenting project progress and identifying deviations
- Liaise with owners and contractors to resolve issues
- Track and review shop drawings, schedules, samples, progress payments, and change documents
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and building authorities regarding constructability
- Prepare project change documentation including sketches and drawings
- Conduct progress meetings with key stakeholders
- Manage project close-out documentation
Requirements
- 10+ years of project work experience
- Experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client management
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and resourcefulness
Skills
- Architectural or engineering systems design
- M&E and structural building systems
- Permit and building code knowledge
Experience Level
- 10+ years
Education Level
- Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset
Salary/Compensations
- $90,000.00 - $125,000.00
