About the Role

We are seeking a bilingual (French/English) Infrastructure Deployment Specialist to support the installation and commissioning of IT environments for our clients across Canada. In this role, you will participate in the entire infrastructure deployment cycle, including physical equipment installation, cabling, and logical configuration of servers, operating systems, storage solutions, and network equipment. You will work independently or as part of a team depending on the project. The ideal candidate is passionate about infrastructure technologies, possesses excellent customer service skills, and learns new products and solutions quickly.

Responsibilities

Physically install servers, network switches, storage arrays, and other equipment in data centers or computer rooms.
Perform rack mounting, copper and fiber optic cabling, and network connections.
Build, install, and configure servers running Windows Server and Linux.
Deploy, configure, and validate VMware virtualization environments.
Install and configure network switches (Layer 1 and 2).
Deploy and configure SAN and NAS storage solutions, including Fibre Channel switches.
Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of deployed infrastructures.
Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure the success of deployment projects.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in server installation, deployment, and configuration.
Experience in data center environments and IT infrastructure deployment.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Windows Server.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Linux.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of VMware.
Experience in Layer 1 & 2 networking.
Experience in the installation and configuration of network switches.
Experience with SAN and NAS storage environments.
Knowledge of Fibre Channel switches.
Ability to perform physical installation, rack mounting, and cabling of equipment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong desire to learn new technologies.
Must be eligible for Canadian federal government security clearance.
Availability to travel across Canada by car or plane as business needs require.
