About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP key user to join our Order Management Team to enhance customer experience and support business growth in LEGO® Japan. This role involves daily operations for key accounts and project work related to our digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-active order entry for launches, campaigns, and bundles.
  • Facilitate, modify, and improve order management processes, including pre-order support.
  • Support customer claims and returns, including investigation and processing.
  • Manage supply allocation process during constrained supply.
  • Report on inventory levels, identify out-of-stock and closed items, and communicate to the team.
  • Follow up on overdue items and variances on quotations.
  • Provide fill rate reporting to customers and internally.
  • Handle customer-specific requests such as end-of-month reconciliation and palletization schematics.
  • Optimize and counsel customer inventory based on stock and CS data.
  • Govern the Order to Cash process.
  • Maintain master data in SAP, EDI, Web B2B, and customer portals.
  • Become a subject matter expert in product and customer master data for the Japan business unit.
  • Act as the local lead for order processing automation projects (SAP HANA, B2B web shop, EDI, Contents Hub, approval engine).
  • Lead projects as a local key user to support interface creation from internal tools to order processing tools.
  • Manage the impact of new interfaces on various Order Management, Master Data, Customer Operations, and Ops tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources on fit-gap analysis, system design, specification mapping, SIT/UAT, and Go-live support.
  • Continuously improve order processes.
  • Support business with on-demand analysis and reporting.
  • Assist GM, Operations Director, and Order Management Manager with business presentations.
  • Invest in self-development through an Individual Development Plan.
  • Participate in and drive projects within Japan and the wider APAC organization.
  • Drive team motivation and culture with curiosity, bravery, and focus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment within a multinational corporation.
  • Experience in a cross-border organization.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of supply-chain operational procedures, specifically in Order Management and Master Data.
  • Highly skilled in SAP SD module, with experience as a key user in ERP projects.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in problem-solving.
  • Proficient in timely multi-task management with prioritization.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Teams, Power BI).
  • Ability to influence leadership through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
  • Japanese & English project management skills in a multi-national matrix organization.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Logistics and Distribution experience.
  • Ability to think strategically while focusing on short-term tasks.
